This is a three part quest can be found on the Isle of Krythan.

Part 1
The starting npc is always a young child. He tells you that another named NPC took their skinning knife and is headed for another named town. He asks you to help get it back. If you accept you have an unspecified amount of time to go to that town and locate the thief. Once located the thief claims he did not realize what he was doing and that he has sold the knife to a mage (named NPC) in another town. You receive 1000 experience pool points for this part of the quest.

Part 2
Now you have an unspecified amount of time to seek out the mage in the specified town and explain that the knife was someone elses and hope that the mage is kind enough to return it. When you find the mage, he tells you that the knife is actually an ancient rune artifact that causes people to do evil. He says if you are seeking it from greed you should give up for it will torment your soul. But if you wish only to help the child you must seek a knight in Lotor's Castle. You receive another 1000 experience pool points for this part of the quest.

Part 3

Now you have an unspecified amount of time to locate the Knight at Lotor's Castle. Once found the knight thanks you for your concern for the child. He says the child will receive 1000 in gold to pay for his education and you receive 500 in gold and 3500 experience pool points for completing the mission.
